BoomBoom is a creator-first platform built around exclusive content, real engagement, and a community that respects each other. These guidelines exist to keep it that way.

By using BoomBoom, you agree to follow these guidelines at all times. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or permanent termination — depending on severity. We enforce these rules consistently and without exception.

If you see something that doesn’t belong here, please report it. We review every report.

1. Who These Guidelines Apply To

These guidelines apply to everyone on BoomBoom — creators, fans, and anyone else who accesses the platform. They cover all content posted on BoomBoom, all interactions between users, and all use of platform features including profiles, ratings, and transactions.

Using BoomBoom means you’ve read and agreed to these guidelines. Claiming you weren’t aware of a rule is not grounds for appeal.


2. Age Requirements and Access

BoomBoom requires all users to be at least 13 years old. To enforce this, we collect your date of birth at sign-up and use it to restrict access to age-appropriate features.

App Store Age Rating: BoomBoom is rated 17+ on the Apple App Store. While users 13 and older may register, certain features are age-restricted as described above.

By providing your date of birth at sign-up, you confirm it is accurate. Misrepresenting your age is a violation of these guidelines and our Terms of Service and may result in immediate account termination.


3. Content Standards

BoomBoom currently supports photo uploads. Video support is coming soon. All content you post — regardless of format — must meet the following standards.

The following content is never allowed on BoomBoom, under any circumstances:

4. User Conduct

How you treat others on BoomBoom matters as much as what you post.

4.1 Harassment and Bullying

Do not target, intimidate, or persistently contact another user in a way that causes distress. This includes:

Content or behavior that attacks people based on protected characteristics — including race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age — is not allowed. This includes slurs, dehumanizing language, and calls for discrimination.

Satire and commentary on social issues are evaluated in context. Hiding hate speech behind the label of “satire” is not a defense.

4.3 Threats and Incitement

Do not threaten violence against any individual or group, or post content that encourages others to commit acts of violence or self-harm.

4.4 Exploitation

Do not attempt to financially exploit, manipulate, or deceive other users. This includes predatory pricing tactics, false promises about content, or psychological pressure to purchase content.

4.5 Rating Extortion

Do not threaten a creator with a negative rating — or promise a positive rating — in exchange for anything of value, including free content, Lux, or personal favors. This is a form of extortion and will be treated accordingly.

4.6 Contests and Giveaways

Creators may not run promotions that offer Lux, money, free content, or any other reward in exchange for ratings, unlocks, or engagement. Any contest or giveaway must comply with applicable laws and may not be used to manipulate platform metrics.


5. Privacy and Personal Information

Respecting other people’s privacy is non-negotiable on BoomBoom.

If you share content featuring other people, it is your responsibility to ensure you have their consent to do so.

Photo Metadata: Photos taken on mobile devices often contain embedded location data (EXIF data) that can reveal exactly where a photo was taken. To protect your privacy and the privacy of anyone featured in your photos, BoomBoom automatically strips all EXIF metadata from photos upon upload. Only the image itself is stored.


6. Intellectual Property

You must have the rights to everything you post.

Repeat Infringers: Users who repeatedly violate intellectual property rights will have their accounts permanently terminated in accordance with our DMCA repeat infringer policy and Apple App Store requirements.

7. Profile and Identity Standards

Your profile is your presence on BoomBoom. Keep it honest.


8. Platform Integrity

BoomBoom’s value depends on authenticity. Actions that undermine the integrity of the platform are prohibited.


9. Rating System

The rating system exists to help users make informed decisions and to determine creator payout tiers. Its integrity matters.

If you notice suspicious rating activity, please report it through the in-app reporting system.


10. Transactions and In-App Currency

All transactions on BoomBoom must be conducted honestly and in accordance with our Terms of Service at https://boomboomhq.com/terms-of-service.


11. Reporting and Blocking

We give you the tools to protect yourself and help keep BoomBoom safe for everyone.

11.1 Reporting Content

Every post on BoomBoom can be reported directly using the report button. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team using a combination of automated screening and human review. We take every report seriously.

Misusing the report system — including filing false, retaliatory, or coordinated reports against a creator without genuine cause — is a violation of these guidelines and may result in account restrictions.

You can block any user directly from their profile or from any interaction they’ve had with you. When you block someone:

12. Enforcement

We take enforcement seriously. Here’s how it works.

We review violations in context. A first-time, minor violation is treated differently than a pattern of harmful behavior. However, certain violations — particularly those involving minors, CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or credible threats of violence — result in immediate permanent termination with no warnings issued.

If you believe your content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you have the right to appeal.

The following actions are not subject to appeal:


All users must comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws. BoomBoom operates under United States law and is governed by the laws of the State of California.

Content that violates applicable law — including but not limited to child safety laws, defamation, fraud, or intellectual property law — will be removed. We cooperate fully with law enforcement and will report illegal activity when required or appropriate to do so.

FOSTA-SESTA Compliance: BoomBoom actively complies with the Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (FOSTA) and Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act (SESTA). Content or conduct that facilitates sex trafficking or prostitution will be reported to the National Human Trafficking Hotline (1-888-373-7888) and law enforcement immediately.


15. Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, community, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we’ll notify you through the app or by email. Continuing to use BoomBoom after an update means you agree to the revised guidelines.
